Private Career Colleges operating in Ontario must be registered, and have their vocational programs approved by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities. The act that governs private career colleges is called the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005. This act ensures that private career colleges meet certain standards for the programs they offer, as well as advertising, refund policies, and instructor qualifications.
Canadian Flyers International College is registered as a private career college under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005. We offers three programs that are “approved as vocational programs under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005.” These three programs are:
- Airline Transport Pilot Diploma
- Commercial Pilot Licence
- Flight Instructor Rating
As part of the PCC regulations, all students in an approved vocational program are required to sign a PCC contract before beginning the aviation component of their program. The signing of this contract will take place upon your acceptance by the Canadian Flyers International College.
Canadian Flyers International College also offers other programs for pilots that do not fall under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005. These include:
- Night Rating
- Multi-Engine Rating
- Group 1 Instrument Rating (Multi-Engine)
- Group 3 Instrument Rating (Single-Engine)
Note: Training for the Private Pilot Licence does not fall under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005.
